Grandmother's Flower Garden

Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt

This Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt is made entirely from scraps—what some might call treasures. Each hexagon was pieced using the traditional method with those infamous Y-seams. After completing this quilt the old-fashioned way, Y-seams no longer intimidate me! I’ve made others with double flowers and colorful walkways, but for this one, I chose the simplicity of single blooms and a crisp white path. The sunflower border felt like the perfect finishing touch—bright, warm, and fitting for this cheerful garden of fabric memories.
